'The Power of Community: How Cuba Survived Peak Oil'
Free film to be held Feb. 22 and Feb. 26 at UU

Transition Asheville and Asheville Unitarian Universalist Church’s
(UU) Social Justice Council announced that it will present "The Power of Community: How Cuba Survived Peak Oil" at two separate showings to be held at 1 p.m., Mon., Feb. 22, 2010 and 7 p.m., Fri., Feb. 26.

Lewis Patrie said, "This film is important in providing hope for dealing with the global Peak Oil problem and encouragement in motivating our community to move forward toward a sustainable future. It offers insight into choices we must consider and actions we will need to take to adapt to current and future economic and environmental crises. This is a free event."
