May 26, 2010 PARC, NBACC oppose proposed concrete plant in Weaverville, public hearing May 26 'last chance' to stop plant Two citizen associations state residents will be exposed to dangerous airborne toxins if concrete plant is built PARC (People Advocating Real Conservency) and NBACC (North Buncombe Association of Concerned Citizens) encourage all citizens to attend the public hearing to be held from 6 to 9 p.m., Weds., May 26, 2010. The meeting will address the proposed Blue Ridge Concrete Plant in Weaverville. The public hearing will be held at the North Buncombe High School, located at 890 Clarks Chapel Road.
