Bargain Monthly Parking Offered by City, Beginning March 7
ON-STREET METERED & PERMIT PARKING AVAILABLE ON WOODFIN STREET
   Woodfin Street has been reconfigured and re-striped to create 45 parallel parking spaces between College Street and Central Avenue in downtown Asheville.
   The 16 spaces closest to College Street will be metered parking. The cost for these metered spaces will be $1 an hour with a two-hour limit.
   The 29 other spaces will be for permit parking between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The price for permits is $20 per month and will be available at the City of Asheville Parking Services office in the Rankin Avenue Garage at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 7. Due to high demand, purchasers will be limited to one permit per person and made on a first-come, first-served basis.
