United Way Unveils New Slogan at Its 2008 Annual Meeting

The United Way hosted its annual meeting on June 5 at the Folk Art Center and unveiled its new slogan, "Live United," as well as celebrated its volunteers.

On June 6, 2008, United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County announced that it had hosted its annual meeting and celebration of volunteers at a two-hour event, from 3:30-5:30 p.m., on Thursday, June 5 at the Folk Art Center.

The event was significant in that it marked the beginning of the roll out of United Way’s new marketing campaign and slogan, LIVE UNITED (TM).

The new slogan is designed to be an invitation for Americans to give, advocate and volunteer to create lasting change in communities across the nation.
