Bloggers Invited to Awards Celebration, Charity Benefit for AHOPE Sept. 27

Here's the invitation... YOU ARE INVITED ... To an uproarious night of celebration, congratulation, and community. With over 130 bloggers on the roll and lots of love from area techies, artists, and business folk, the 3rd annual xtravablogiversapaloozathon promises to be our biggest bash yet. 

This year's festivities will take place on September 27, 2008, 6 p.m. until 1:30 a.m. in the Courtyard between Lexington Ave. and Carolina Lane behind Top Floor Studios. 

So many folks sponsored this year's event that it's not costing we bloggers a thing. Food, beer, music, art, photography, shuttle service, and a few surprises are all being provided by the local blogophile businesses listed in the sidebar. 

With all that goodness coming our way, we thought it only right to turn this year's fiesta into a charity benefit for AHOPE, the incredible homeless shelter and Housing First program in Asheville. Bring at least $10 to give to these unsung community heroes. 

As if that weren't enough, there are the infamous BlogAsheville awards where our 2007 Best Blog winner Queen Fliss of The Hangover Journals will pass along the Blogger Staff of Power to this year's lucky recipient.
