Feds to Buy $600 Billion in Mortgage-Backed Assets
*U.S. TREASURY ROLLS OUT NEW PLAN that will use TARP money to help keep the banking industry stable and safe | U.S. treasury secretary Hank Paulson said today that the newly announced purchase of $600 billion in mortgage-backed assets is designed to keep America's banks safe.
