Event to be a Day of Fun and Fishing
On Sunday, May 20, 2007, at 10am, dozens of children from Eliada Home will take part in the Eliada Trout Rodeo. This first ever event is made possible by the support of The Lobster Trap restaurant and Sunburst Trout Farm. It is an opportunity for Eliada's children to enjoy a day of fun and fishing. Prizes will be awarded to those who catch the largest fish, the smallest fish, and the most fish. The event will culminate in a fish fry for participating children and their families.
The catch from the Trout Rodeo will be sold at The Lobster Trap Monday, May 21st through Friday, May 25th with proceeds benefiting Eliada Home. The public is encouraged to visit The Lobster Trap during this time to enjoy local trout specialties and support a great cause at the same time.
