Downtown Master Plan Public Meetings Conclude, Consultants Work Towards Final Recommendations
*CONSULTANTS CONGRATULATE CITIZENS FOR THEIR INPUT, Citizens Applaud Goody Clancy Consultants for Work Well Done | Goody Clancy's lead consultant David Dixon, along with Mary Means and other members of the city-hired consulting team, received citizen input throughout a series of public meetings on July 28 and 29, 2008.

The final public meeting at the Asheville Civic Center was give and take. The consultants presented a number of their findings and initial recommendations, and local citizens asked questions and gave suggestions to improve upon Asheville's new downtown master plan.

The consultants will complete their contract with the city when they present their written Downtown Master Plan to the community and Asheville City Council in September for consensus, approval and implementation.
